UHUB- service information platform for digital transformation of the post office and localization of the economy

TITLE OF RRI PROJECT:

UHUB- service information platform for digital transformation of the post office and localization of the economy

MAIN PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

UHUB is an innovative R&D project, the ultimate goal of which is a completely new product of the company, which significantly changes the business activity of the economic group. UHUB is a service information platform for the digital transformation of the Post Office and the localization of the economy – post offices are crucially expanding their service capacity and portfolio of functionality, and local communities are gaining concrete infrastructural support to stimulate economic activity for self-sufficiency and local circulation.

UHUB is a sustainable service platform for the digital transformation of the post office and the localization of the economy, which will be based on self-sufficiency and the shortening of logistics chains. It is a developmental response to the challenge of declining letter traffic and thus reducing the importance and relevance of post offices, as well as the challenge of increasing exclusion of local communities from economic relations.

Through the transformation of the Post Office, UHUB addresses innovatively and solves both problems. It focuses on local communities, enables the local circulation of goods and thus the self-regulating mechanism of supply and demand.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the UHUB project, applied for by the consortium of partners APS PLUS, Result and Sunesis, received co-financing in accordance with the submitted application in the amount of up to EUR 499,561.99.

The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union under the European Regional Development Fund.
